If there’s any common element shared by our estate wines, it’s a character that combines purity of flavor with a notable minerality on the palate. Our three estate vineyards are all located within a 10-mile radius, and yet their elevations, aspects, and microclimates are so diverse that we are able to grow a surprising range of noble grapes, from high-elevation Pinot Noir and Riesling vines overlooking Lake Chelan to rich Bordeaux and Rhône varieties on our Rocky Reach riverfront sites.
In the Cellar
Intentional Craft
Director of Viticulture Shane Collins intentionally farms each site to ensure that we harvest our fruit at the peak of ripeness and health each autumn. In the cellar, Winemaker Elizabeth Keyser prudently employs low-intervention techniques and French cooperage with the aim of crafting wines that reveal the fingerprint of each estate’s unique terroir. Rocky Pond Estate wines are notable for their polished textures, broad structure, liveliness and thrilling tension.

Untamed Terroir
The Rocky Reach American Viticultural Area is like no other winegrowing region on the planet, combining rare crystalline soils with a distinctly seasonal riparian climate. Our two riverfront vineyards are located within this anomalous geological zone, where the bedrock is composed of quartz silica. In addition, we own the esteemed Clos Chevalle Vineyard, overlooking Lake Chelan.
