Culinary Program
From Farm to Table
Welcome to
Our Land of Bounty
Fresh, Local, Delicious
Drenched by sun and fed by fresh mountain water, the Columbia and Chelan Valleys are world-famous for their crisp apples and pears, and succulent peaches, cherries, and nectarines. We are proud to support local and sustainable growers, ranches and fisheries through our culinary program. And our family farming partners produce flavorful corn, sweet onions, melons, honey, heirloom chicken, dairy, and more.
Redefining Washington Cuisine
Local Foodways, Avant-Garde Interpretations
Our approach to cuisine is modern, but our sourcing is very much down-home. We maintain abundant year-round vegetable and herb gardens, berry patches, and orchards right here on the Estate. We leaven our fresh-baked bread and pizza dough with estate vineyard yeasts, and cure prosciutto and age cheeses in our cellars. Our next project: building greenhouses for year-round fresh lettuces and microgreens.

Once you’ve sampled our savory herbed shallot chutney, or our wild blueberry and orange sea salt butter, there’s no going back. In all of our Tasting Rooms, we offer a rotating selection of house-prepared nibbles to accompany our wines, as well as a deluxe menu for Rocks Society members, all featuring our flavorful house-prepared sauces, jams, and condiments. Book your reservation now for a tasting experience designed to delight the senses.
Fine Dining
Rustic Elegance
Launching in fall 2023, the Pavilion at Rocky Pond will be our culinary hub, offering private events, meals, classes and more, overlooking the Main Stage and the Pond. An adjacent Dine with Vines gazebo will host intimate vineyard meals. And we look forward to the début of the Tumbled Granite Dining Room at Rocky Pond Resort, a future showcase for our farm-to-table gastronomy and fine wine pairing philosophy. To get a taste of the deliciousness to come, join the Rocks Society and sample our exclusive tasting-room member menus.
Education
Hands-On Learning
The Pavilion at Rocky Pond Estate will soon offer hands-on immersive cooking classes with our culinary team as well as sommelier-led wine classes. Working with whole and sustainably sourced foods, we’ll teach you techniques and tricks that you can easily replicate at home, along with wine-pairing fundamentals.
Nutrition
Nourish to Flourish
As a student at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Executive Chef Doug Setkiner did groundbreaking work in nutritional analysis, and good health has been a priority in his approach to cuisine ever since. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions you may be observing and we will do our best to accommodate them.
